Restoration of Ancient Temples
Construction and restoration began in Madurai Aadheenam first. Being an establishment that was centuries old, the aadheenam’s construction needed special attention and repair. Especially the places which were preserved with the same foundation and structure of the ancient history of Mīnākśi herself. The foundational repair as well as refinishing of old antique furniture, all started in this time. Not just the Shyamala Peetha Sarvajnapeetam but the temples that were under the jurisdiction of this sovereign entity, also were attended to and their restoration began. The temples were hundreds of years old and had survived brutal attacks. For several hundreds of years, with their responsible parties under siege, could not be attended. Now, The SPH visited each one personally, oversaw the efforts to preserve these heritages and spiritual centers. In the temples, The SPH Himself picked up a broom and cleaned the dense cobwebs that accumulated inside the temple structure and supervised the renovation efforts.

2. Pannagaparameshwarar temple in Pannagateru
3. Sakshinatheshwarar Temple in Tiruppurambiyam, Tanjore
4. kaichaneswarar Temple Kaichanam, Tanjore
As the duly coronated pontiff of the Madurai Aadheenam, The SPH initiated several projects to revive this spiritual epicenter of Hinduism:
1. Physical restoration of land and heritage
2. Social welfare through free service of food and medical camps.
3. Spiritual upliftment through programs, spiritual discourse and darshan.
4. Above all, the SPH gave the biggest gift to the people of Madurai: His presence.

Food Security Initiatives for 20+ Years
Simultaneously in Madurai, in the city center, an even bigger effort went into improving the welfare of the people of the kingdoms. With thousands in poverty, The SPH sought to make the basic needs of the people available freely, such as free food and free medical care. From the moment of His appointment, The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism provided anna dhan (free food) for up to 3500 people in the city of Madurai from the aadheenam. On average, an astounding 125 kgs of rice is cooked each day. Food is served thrice a day at the campus premises and is prepared as per the Bhaga śastra. It is the science of cooking as disclosed by Paramaśiva Himself, where he details the best combination of ingredients to be consumed by a being for acquiring a healthy and enlightened body. The food is prepared with the accompaniment of mantras or kirtans (sacred hymns), infusing positive vibrations in the food that has the power to spiritually heal people. The blissful volunteers of KAILĀSA Madurai cook and serve hot, nourishing, organic meals with rice, pulses and vegetables. On special occasions such as Hindu festivals, the aadheenam feeds hundreds of thousands of people with this service running 24/7, and open to all.
Free Medical Clinic
The Aadheenam runs a free medical service which is equipped with the latest diagnostic machines, including autorefractometer, ultrasound & ECG, glucometers for blood sugar monitoring etc. The Madurai Aadheenam under the guidance of The SPH was:
• Working towards giving access to healthcare for those in need
• Providing a basic clinic and free specialty medical clinic which offered professional services, including door-to-door free services in case of patients requiring minor surgery
• Making these services available to one and all, without any charge
• Expanding services to include siddha, homeopathy, ayurveda and natural medicine
• Opening a free 24-hour dialysis clinic to service the large numbers of renal failure cases, occurring in Madurai due to the excessively hard water in the region.
Spiritual Guide & Guru for the People
After The SPH’s coronation, He spent countless hours and days in the Madurai Aadheenam, personally healing anyone who asked with the indigenous spiritual healing and provided spiritual guidance. Spiritual conventions, programs, books, and discourses were also made available freely for the public.
